What a fun experience! 😃 We mega enjoyed the boat trip, the Ribeiro wine (typical from Galicia), the mussels and the explanation about the area. All you can eat, all you can drink - now you know. And so much fun the boat party afterwards. Totally recommended! 🍹🎉

Touristic option for viewing the mussel platforms. We went one July day for the 1:30 cruise time. It’s a little more than one hour. It was all you can eat steamed mussels served with some white wine. The mussels were good with a fresh taste like the sea. No seasoning just steamed. The wine was a real disappointment. It wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t an Albariño like other reviews mentioned. It’s a super cheap white wine that is not even from Galicia! That was disappointing. Some tips. If you want to sit on top outside be sure to get there early and be does tin line. There aren’t many tables on the top. There isn’t a cover on the top either so be prepared to be hot if you do sit there. The highlight for us was the underwater viewing platform. Not many people went down to see the extensive life around the mussels. There are no plates or forks. Be prepared to eat with your hands. They have some rolls of paper towels but no napkins. There are five or six different companies offering similar tours - make sure you get in the right line. Our port has two boats from different companies. [we got on at O Grove which is more crowded]

The boat trip, mussels, and wine were amazing. However, I am pretty sure that when we bought the picture on the way out we were scammed. We paid the 10 euros cost with 5 x 2 euros coins and went our way. Moments later, the lady selling it chased us and said we only gave her 8 euros, showing 4 coins in her hand. I recommend that anyone buying the pictures be mindful of that.
