Valentina our guide was wonderful. She gave us such great information about the history of the region, why they chose those specific wineries and additional suggestions for things to do. The first winery was a larger family run business that had exceptional service and one of the family owners took the time to really talk about the vineyard and the wines. The second winery was smaller and newer but the wine guide took us on a tour of the agricultural aspect, wine making, and property. A beautiful view of the region with some adorable farm animals to pet. We stopped at San Gimignano and were free to wander this really cool medieval village and gnosh on gelato. Drove us back to Florence full and relaxed. Would highly recommend.
Filippo was our tour guide through 3 amazing boutique wineries. Incredibly knowledgeable and gracious, he made the tour a genuine and delightful experience. At each winery not only did we taste delicious wine and food, but it felt like we were visiting the homes of friends. The winery owners were all passionate about their wines and took great care with every step of the process. Wonderful authentic, intimate experience I would recommend highly. Just a magical day!
Angie did a wonderful job showing us the Chianti region while keeping the tour fun and entertaining. The 3 wineries visited all were unique and great in their own way. We had personal tours from the owners of 2 of the wineries which was very cool to learn their stories. The small group setting (8 people or less) was perfect size and being picked up from downtown Florence made the whole experience super easy. 10/10 would recommend!
