Such a fantastic experience learning to cook some seriously delicious food with Mahn. The market visit and farm tour was an amazing way to start, and we learnt a lot about local vegetables, before seeing them growing on the absolutely beautiful farm land. Then we went to cook the dishes at Mahn's house. She very kindly catered to cooking vegan dishes with us, we learnt some great techniques and ended up with some of the most delicious, fresh food we have ever eaten. She's also such a wonderful person to chat to. Can only recommend booking this on a visit to Hanoi.
This was everything we could have wanted from a totally authentic home cooking experience. Mandy's cooking skills are restaurant standard and her English level is without doubt the best we experienced during our 3 weeks in Vietnam. It was great to also get to meet some of the the local market farmers and see how they produce their fruit and vegetables. The food was absolutely delicious and we received the recipes by email after we got home - don't hesitate to book!
Manh took us on a wonderful market and farm tour and the brought us back to her house for a cooking class and lunch. Lunch was delicious and introduced us to many new ingredients, cannot recommend enough.
