We just happened by after leaving the Tower, and what an incredible find! It was lovely, and the Knights Templar Altar downstairs was incredible. Such history, founded in 675!! Just amazing.

Amazing, unique 6th century church, Don't miss the crypt where they'd found remains of both an original Roman tiled floor, also a Saxon stone cross amongst other artefacts

Founded in 675 AD, it is considered the oldest church in the City of London. The church's tower was used by Samuel Pepys to watch the Great Fire of London in 1666. It is located on Byward Street, near the Tower of London. William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania, was baptized at the church in 1644.
