Zero to hero course for Yachtmaster offshore is exceptional. You will learn everything what you need to pass exam and to be confident for your on passages. Instructors are very experienced and they will teach you everything you need to know about sailing. Ask them anything about sailing and they have a answer. Highly recommended course because you will learn how to sail for sure. Leaving on a yacht with other people gets you another opportunity to experience sailing life for real. I got lucky because I met some amazing people on this journey. I wish you all the best and fair winds.

I completed the 13 week yachtmaster course with IOS. The tuition was to a very high standard throughout the course, leaving us very prepared for the final exam. All instructors were very knowledgeable and passionate about sailing. Special thanks to Ronan who's enthusiasm and love of sailing was a highlight of the course. Just completed the 13 week yachtmaster course with irish offshore sailing. Thougherly enjoyed the whole course. The quality of the training is to a very high standard. Ronans enthuasm and passion for sailing and teaching raised the bar and brought out the best in all the students. The Course was very very well run and a fantastic experience giving myself and others a new exciting career path. Highly recommend doing the 13 week course!!

Great 'Scottish islands' cruise/milebuilder on Desert Star with David Hanks as a skipper. The wind were not in our favor to reach Scotland but the trip was worthwhile nonetheless.

The owner, Ronan, is a really good teacher and very knowledgeable, but unfortunately was only there for last 2 days of the course. Course was good overall but the division of time at the helm was left to the students - if you waited for the instructor to tell you to take a place you missed out. If you did miss out though you can do an additional day for €300. Best thing if taking this course would be to check how much time Ronan was going to be teaching on a course and pick whatever dates he is most available. Can be a problem with successful businesses as they expand that it is difficult to keep everything at the high level set originally.
