Enjoyed our tour of the Royal Exhibition Building run by the Melbourne Museum. Ran for about an hour and a half. Guided tour took the group through the grond floor and basement before going up onto the roof. A lift was available for any who needed it we didn't realise there were eight flights of stairs up but made it!

You can spend anywhere from one to three hours depending on your interest level, and there are plenty of benches and quiet corners if you want to slow down. The surrounding Carlton Gardens add a lot to the experience. They’re perfect for a short walk or a break after the museum, and the setting makes the visit feel relaxed rather than rushed. Overall, this is a well-maintained, educational, and enjoyable place to visit.
