Its very nice hiking trail. It was lovely.

Visited this place on a short day trip from Rovaniemi and it was one of the beautiful places. There was a good trail though a bit slippery being the end of April. Would highly recommend someone who loves nature and a short day hike.

We arrived in the winter so the water wasn't flowing, but the place was quiet and beautiful with a short walk from the parking lot to the place. In the parking lot there is a nice cafe with excellent hot chocolate that came just in time for the cold outside and a variety of delicious pastries.

The 3.6 km loop trail starting from Auttiköngäs with metal stairs and supporting bars and ropes is doable in winter, although no formal winter route signed or prepared. The drive-in to the parking lot was marvelous.

Beautiful place. Awesome trail to hike. Not so demanding. Trail is prepared for dogs as well. Views from tower spectacular.
