I was in the jungle for 4 days and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly organized and I felt in good hands. The food was excellent and beautifully customized - I have a fish allergy and it was no problem at all. The guide is an amazing person - a local who grew up in the rainforest and knows it down to the last detail. He showed us lots of tricks, shared his knowledge and took us to places we would never have gone to on our own. Thanks to him we saw an incredible number of animals: dolphins, many types of monkeys, anaconda, tuki tuki, birds, alligators and many more. It was an authentic, intense and unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to get to know the jungle really close up. I highly recommend it. If you want an authentic guide and support the locals, go for it. The guide was just for us so no other tourists.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We are world traveler and this is up there with the best if not the best excursion we have done. Our guide Samuel was everything we could have asked for in a guide. He's extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and local area having grown up in the Rainforest. It was a unique and authentic experience that we will cherish forever. I could write a book here but come experience for yourself and you will not be disappointed. We're already thinking about coming back for another adventure.

we decided to book with Amazon Experience after some research online, and would give 5 stars to Amazon Experience for the tour and service provided. from the onset, we were picked up punctually from our hotel, and could deposit our luggage at their office while bringing only what we needed into the rainforest. our guide Petago gave an introduction and simple icebreakers, and that's when our little group of 4 started bonding. we liked that the programme was well-paced and manageable for our group (ranging 20 - 60 years old). Petago also looked after our safety throughout. Overall it is worth it. The lodge - presumably a partner that Amazon Experience works with - has poor connectivity and limited sources of power. Fans in the main hall were not turned on. While it's understandable that electricity is limited, it was disappointing that lights in the accommodation was available between 6 to 9pm only, even when night activities ended beyond 10pm. Hence you would have to shower in the dark after the night walks. This negatively affect the overall stay at the lodge. If Amazon Experience improve on this aspect with the lodge, then it will be very much more manageable and comfortable.

We went into the jungle for 10 days to El Dorado lake. It was beautiful and our guide JP was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. We appreciated the efforts that were made to accommodate our requests and would definitely reccomend going with this company. The owner Wolfer also was helpful in organizing a trip to see the big lily pads and worked with us answering all of our questions. One suggestion would be to introduce a satellite phone for the longer journeys, but we understand this is not the normal way in Iquitos. We would have felt more comfortable, however:) Great trip though, great team of people and we highly recommend.

This tour was one of my best experiences. It was very well organised. Starting with Wolfers, who I booked the tour with. He was very helpful and helped me also book a boat to Santa Rosa straight after the tour. The lodge was in the middle in the jungle and comfortable. We did many tours and could spot wildlife. My guide (I think Wedito) was great. He explained us a lot of things about animals, the tribes, etc. and he spotted some animals I would never find. Also Aldo was a great guide. They both were very knowledgeable.
