This place offers a DIY wine tasting. They give you a card you can put any amount of money on - and can top up if need be. Some 20 to 30 wines you can get samples of, each priced somewhere between 2 and 6 euros. The primary aim of this place is not the selling of the wine, but educating people about Portuguese wines. The person who assisted us taught us a lot, for which we were grateful. He was very helpful guiding us through a wide range of wines to find ones that are more our taste. We definitely recommend walking in for a tasting, or get a bottle or two back home!
We were looking for somewhere to try port in Lisbon. Wines of Portugal allows you to taste wine by the ounces. They didn’t have any port available in the dispensers, so we tried it by the glass. The staff member who helped us was fairly knowledgeable about the port and very friendly. We ended up buying two bottles of port.
An excellent spot to check out variety of wines. Staff ws nice and friendly.
