Roughly a 1 hour walk east from the cable car station, the trails to Maclear’s Beacon offer great views and plenty of flora. The one trail goes along the front side of the table and at some points is quite close to the edge so not for those nervous of heights - but overall an easy trail. The second trail runs along the back and is mostly boardwalk so very flat and accessible. As always, make sure to pack a jacket and plenty of water as the weather can change very suddenly at any moment at the top of the mountain.
