We had a fantastic tour around Pompeii with our guide Sonia. For over two hours she tailored the tour to support our interests and my daughter’s Ancient History course that she is taking for her HSC (Australian) exams. Her knowledge was impressive and she clearly enjoyed immersing people into what life was really like in Pompeii during the Roman period. She was also amazing in guiding us to other areas of the sites we could visit post her guided tour. I cannot recommend enough Sonia as a guide and also this tour company - worth every cent! We also loved our shuttle driver and guide Gennaro who was not only super friendly but also enthusiastic and extremely helpful in providing us other places of interest to visit and a range of great places to eat based on our requests. Just a wonderful day from start to finish.
Amazing value and overall experience. Very well organized and punctual. Our tour guide at Pompei, Frankie, provided a balance of information and humor throughout the tour. Definitely the highlight of our trip. After Pompei, they had a shuttle waiting for us and drove us to the winery. Very convenient and punctual. The winery location is amazing and we had a great time there too. I can't say enough good things about our experience and would definitely recommend it!
Horseback riding in a winery in Pompeii was an incredibly special experience. From our lovely Italian meal, to meeting our friendly horses, to chatting with our amazing hosts, we were treated like VIP guests. Thank you so much!! And Mount Vesuvius made beautiful appearances!!
