A historical sight with importance. Has a great view of jaipur, close to nahargarh fort as well.It has the worlds largest canon which is breathtaking. Has a great under water tank as well. The fort is beautiful and serene.Tickets are available at the gate with car entry. Car entry is bit costly 200 ruppee but I think parking the car out and roaming the fort with basic ticket is doable if your young and can walk for an hour
Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur is an average place to visit. While it is historically important and known for its massive structure and the world-famous Jaivana Cannon, there isnāt much to explore apart from that. Compared to other forts in Jaipur like Amber or Nahargarh, the experience feels limited. You can easily reach the fort by your own car, which is convenient. The main highlight remains the Jaivana Cannon, and the panoramic views of Amber Fort and Jaipur city are quite beautiful, especially on a clear day. The fort does carry a strong, royal vibe, and photography lovers will enjoy the views. However, one downside is that there are people constantly approaching you and asking for money to explain things, which makes the place feel more like a money-making spot rather than a preserved heritage site. This becomes distracting and takes away from the experience. Whatās disappointing is that despite this, the fort does not seem well maintained. Overall, Jaigarh Fort is good for a one-time visit mainly for the views and the Jaivana Cannon. Itās not a must-visit, but worth stopping by if youāre already exploring Jaipurās forts.
