Parno and his brother Sudirman were excellent guides on this hike! They picked us up promptly from Seminyak and the journey to Mt Batur was smooth! They were super friendly throughout the hike and even shared some history and culture of the place with us! The hike itself was manageable! We had an incredible time hiking Mount Batur with our guide. He was friendly, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable during the climb. The sunrise at the top was absolutely breathtaking — one of the most beautiful moments of our entire Bali trip. After reaching the summit, he prepared a simple but delicious breakfast with an amazing view. Later, he also took us to a local coffee tasting, which was a great bonus and super fun to experience. Everything was well-organized from start to finish. We felt safe, taken care of, and genuinely enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars. Thank you for an unforgettable morning!
Lanterns provided, nice route and pace, rain jacket provided as a nice gesture, light breakfast at the top was choice of hot beverage (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) and a slice of toasted bread. Would definitely wear a good pair of shoes and a sweater for the cold at the top. Beautiful view, friendly guide, one hour in and one hour out. Driver pickup included and good company.
