Absolutely beautiful, reminds me of the Byzantine style. Not sure if it adds value to put pictures of this church , when many similar looking pictures are available already- but here it is. I don’t remember now if I paid for entering inside the church but tower entry is charged. There was construction work on the towers of the church happening around summer of 2025.
Bazylika Mariacka is absolutely breathtaking. The stunning architecture, beautiful stained glass, and the magnificent altar make it one of the most impressive churches in Krakow. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and awe-inspiring, and hearing the famous trumpet call adds to the magic of the place. A must-visit landmark that truly captures the spirit and history of the city.
St. Mary’s Basilica is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of Kraków. The interior is breathtaking, especially the deep blue, starry ceiling, which immediately draws your eyes upward. The paintings and the altar are incredibly detailed and impressive, with so much artistry and history in every corner. There is a small fee to enter, but it’s completely worth it for what you get to see. It’s an active place of worship, so visitors should be respectful of devotees while inside. Overall, a must-see when in Kraków.
