Tough hike but totally worth it. Follow the navigation on Google maps but park the car on the main road. Then walk downhill following the rough road to the end. A trail will lead you to the river bank. Then turn right and follow the red dots. On some places you will need to take off your shoes when the water is high. Good balance and hiking skills required!
The waterfall was dry in mid September, but you can enjoy the teal water of the pool and the river, and the imposing rocks of the gorge. Wear shoes suitable for hiking, as you will be walking through a rocky riverbed and be prepared to cross through some water (depending on the water level). The west approach requires the least walking (about 10 min) to get you to the riverbed, from where you can follow the red marks on the rocks to get to the fall. However, you'd have to drive about 4 km through rather rough dirt road, so you'd better use a high-clearance car. At the end of the dirt road (after Agios Ioannis chappel), there is some space to park. The start of the dirt road is driving past Manikia village (from the direction of Neochori), here: 38°32'38.4"N 23°59'20.5"E
