All the varieties of the Naxos cheeses were artfully presented and explained along with a local wine of your choice. A real taste of Naxos! My wife was so pleased that we made this stop.

Any trip to Naxos Chora should include a visit to this lovely shop. The aromas of the cheeses, herbs, and other offerings greets you at the door. The staff are lovely and eager to describe all their various authentic Naxian cheeses, an education in itself. Don't miss the dried sausage in the case, either! We stocked up our Air BnB refrigerator with everything this shop had to offer and ate well on our our terrace. We didn't get to do one of their well-regarded tastings, but the ones we observed looked terrific. A real jewel! Thank you, friends!

The cheese tasting here is one of the best I've ever been to. The cheese itself is made by the business and is delicious. Paired with local wine and great service, this is a great way to experience local food in an hour. The price was 20$ per person, and it's enough food/drink for at least 3 people. The tray included handmade cheese, homemade charcuterie meats, dried local fruit, breadsticks (that can hold their own in terms of taste) and jams/spreads made from scratch. The recommended pairings are sooo well balanced, and you get to learn a little about how the cheeses are made too! If it's really hot/humid outside, the small cellar where the tasting takes place could be a bit warm. Highly recommend!
