I recently visited Meteora during my trip to Greece, and honestly, it was one of the most beautiful destinations I’ve ever seen. I booked my tour through Visit Meteora travel agency, and they were absolutely fantastic, professional, organized, and clearly passionate about what they do. The whole experience felt smooth and well taken care of from start to finish. Our transportation was comfortable and safe, and since I happened to get the front seat on the bus, I had the best view of the stunning route from Athens to Meteora. The agency also made sure we stopped at nice restaurants along the way for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The real highlight, though, was our guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Meteora’s history and culture that everything felt even more meaningful. Learning about the monasteries and their significance while seeing them up close was honestly mesmerizing. I’d 100% recommend Visit Meteora travel agency to anyone visiting Greece, if you’re heading to Athens, you should definitely plan a trip to Meteora with them. It’s an experience you won’t forget! A very informative, interactive and interesting tour. Despite inclement weather, we were able to witness some truly spectacular sites and learn much about Meteora, it's history and geology. Βασίλης was a great tour guide and Γιάννης a very professional driver. A definite recommendation!

This was an amazing experience starting with the bus trip to Kalambaka from Athens. Our guide (Demitri?) was knowledgeable, engaging and amusing. The monasteries of Meteora we visited were breathtakingly beautiful in Tolkein-like landscapes with unbelievable veiws across stunning countryside. This is truly a magical place that will always remain the highlight of our time in Greece. Highly recommend👍👍

Well organized and delightful and informed tour guide (Maria) for bus. Guide does not go inside monasteries; instead provides lots of information ahead of time. We went to three monasteries and made lots of photo opportunity stops. The hermit caves are not a stop; impossible for anyone to access because they are high up in the mountainous cliff faces. Instead they are pointed out and discussed. The drivers are excellent and safe. The drive is 4 hours each way plus stops to eat. You can bring your own food as an alternative. We did that in the way to the monasteries and bought food on the way back to Athens. The bus left at 8am and returned around 10:30pm. The buses are modern and air conditioning worked great. The monasteries are magnificent including the ones you don’t enter. Pictures don’t do it justice. We are not group tour people and I’d still give this tour the highest rating.

We had an unbelievable 3 day visit to the Meteora region with fantastic and well organized tours by Visit Meteora. Day 1 we were picked up in a comfortable bus for the 4 hr drive to Kalabaca, dropped off at our hotel (we chose the 3 star and was lovely, recently remodeled and offered a nice breakfast included). After a couple of hours our mini van with tour guide Lina came to pick us up and began the sunset tour to Meteora. Lina was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and warm and gave us an unforgettable tour, with stories and history. We finished our day with an incredible sunset. Day 2 we went on another tour at Meteora visiting new monasteries during the morning hours. It was like a brand new visit with completely different and beautiful scenery and lighting. Andreas also did a phenomenal job as our guide, great information, kept us all together and was friendly and warm. I would highly recommend Visit Meteora to anyone going to experience this incredible region. I don’t believe we would have had the same level of experience without this company’s professionals and organization
