Surprisingly big beautiful green oasis of mainly pine and cypress trees, situated in the midst of urban, polluted and quite greenless Athens. Suitable for walking, alone or with a dog, hiking, cycling, picnics (there are many wooden benches and tables scattered all around the forest) .... Especially nice in Spring or Autumn. It could be reached by car from many parts of Athens and surrounding suburbs. I highly recommend it.
