Great experience to really get to try the street food of Athens! Katrina did an amazing job explaining about every food item we tried which she personally chose herself from experience. We tried 3 savory and 3 sweet dishes. It was nice to walk around the streets of Athens with a local- something unique ! Highly recommend this experience! We left stuffed after the tour !
We had a wonderful experience with Arela and Sophia on this walk. Their enthusiasm and passion for sharing local culture added so much depth to the experience. We were a group of 12 and both of them managed to engage with everyone individually, encouraging participation and ensuring that each of us enjoyed the walk equally. I especially appreciated the thoughtful mix of insights about local food, restaurants and markets and the care they took to remember our food allergies and preferences at every stop. The olive oil tasting they included was such a delightful touch. It was truly a five-star experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
Rachel was an absolute charm to have as a tour guide. She was fun, funny, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to anybody’s special needs in the group. The tour was very special. We got a chance to get out of the typical tourist areas and see a glimpse of how Athenians live. The food was wonderful and we had plenty of time to do some light shopping as well. We were so thrilled we took half a day of our 2 days in Athens to experience this tour!!
Let me start by saying we LOVED our guide Sophia, she was fun, energetic and very knowledgeably about the foods, restaurants and markets we visited. Looking back we should have started our stay in Athens with the food tour. Then we would have had a better idea of the area, where to shop and of course, where to get some of the best fresh fruit. Just having someone to guide you through the streets, taking you to the different shops was so much more fun than having your head buried in a map or following google maps. We will definitely book another tour on our next visit, Thank You Sophia, you were the best!

My wife and I had an amazing time on this food tour through the heart of Athens. From the moment we met our guide Mike, we knew we were in for something special. Mike was knowledgeable, warm, and truly passionate about sharing Greek culture and cuisine. We sampled many different tastings, from mouthwatering pies and fresh Greek coffee to delicious honey, award-winning olive oil, seasonal fruits and vegetables, traditional sweets, and more. The stop at the family-owned honey store and the olive oil tasting were highlights, as was the incredible meal at the local street taverna — authentic, bustling, and absolutely delicious. Mike also shared the fascinating history of the markets and neighborhoods we visited, making the tour feel like an intimate journey into the real Athens. We loved that the tour took us to places where locals eat and shop, away from the usual tourist spots. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens. our tour was great. Wandering though the streets of Athens. Seeing and hearing so much. our guide was very knowledgeable and had so much information. we topped off the night with a wonderful dinner. we had more food than we could finish. the guide also made sure everyone knew where to go at the end of the tour. She went aband beyond beyond expectations
