Wow! What fun it was to go to the market with David. It was quite an experience to see the local shellfish and seafood they have here. Don't forget your camera. David was not only informative but regaled us with stories and hospitality that we were not expecting. We prepared the various local dishes and enjoyed savouring the fruits of our labour. This was hands down one of my favorite travel experiences ever. David is an incredible host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Visiting the local market with him was a highlight — he knows everyone and shared so much about Galician ingredients and traditions. Cooking together afterward was relaxed, fun, and delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and taught with care. My mom and I left full, happy, and inspired to cook these recipes at home.
