I was looking at old photos and was reminded of this place. The garden feels like something out of a fairy tale, and both the food and the staff are very lovely.

Absolutely beautiful and romantic place to dine. Fine dining decor surrounded by gorgeous flowers and plants inside and outside the eating area. I first went to the actual museum where this is located. It is an elegant museum with fantastic artifacts that are from the time in Peru prior to the Spanish conquest. Worth a visit for sure. But back to the review at hand here, I had to have lomo saltado at some point during my Peru trip. I decided to do that here since it appeared to be a primary meal option. I'm glad I did as it was extremely well done here at the cafe. Meat was tender and all elements of the meal were very fresh and well prepared Based on several reviews, I also tried the hot chocolate. While it was certainly very good, I didn't find it extraordinary or worth the price (for reference, I'm a chocoholic). For dessert, I had the Limeño Sigh. I'm not going to be critical of this one because I'm sure it was prepared appropriately and extremely well as a local delicacy, but it was too sweet for me (and I have a big sweet tooth). So please take that into account if you plan to order this one. This restaurant is a must stop in Lima, in my view, due to the ambiance and the fact that you will get high quality food at a fair price.

What a beautiful spot to enjoy lunch especially after a day at the museum. The plants are just gorgeous and they augment them with pretty lights that I bet look great at night as well. The food was quite tasty as well.

Everything was so good from the interior decoration to the food; from the welcoming to the service. Mr Ricardo has enabled a great experience thanks to his smiling face and professional service in explaining the food ingredients in details. I had cream vegetable soup, grilled scallop and slow roasted chicken; my wife got chicken soup and lomo saltado and then shared so tested most of the menu :) all was perfect but the chicken soup lacked a little bit of flavor, but wife compansated by adding chilli and other herbs :)

I had chicken soup it was too plain for my taste, so I asked for lemon juice, chili sauce and chopped cilantro. After adding those it became legendary. My husband had cream of vegetable soup, it was delicious and thick, just the way we like. We had grilled scallops as a starter, so flavorful so fresh. A must order! As main dish I had the Lomo Saltado it was all I need, very balanced plate, every bit was so tasty. Surrounded by beautiful local flowers and plants, with thoughtful, tasteful décor. We loved every moment of it. .
