We booked a guided tour for the Alhambra INCLUDING the Nasrid palace via Booking few weeks before the date. We were alarmed by the bad reviews online regarding MyTopTour saying that some could not enter the Nasrid palace or missed the guide and had to go with an audioguide instead. So we asked Booking service to confirm our tickets and we received the nominative tickets with our passport number by message 1 day in advance. On D-day, we arrived in advance to Alhambra via small public bus getting off at Generalife2 and walked upwards towards P.º de la Sabica 32. On googlemaps the trajectory said that it was about 15min walk which was actually shorter thanks to a flight of stairs on the right side that allows reaching Mytoptour directly. Once at the agency, we queued on the left to get a sticker numbered according to our language group, then we went back down the stairs outside where we waited for the guide to distribute us earphones and printed tickets. Then we started the tour inside Alhambra starting with the gardens. After a short lunch/bathroom break in a gift shop we visited the Nasrid palace with the rest of the group that had booked it. Beatrice the French tourguide was absolutely professional, explained everything with many details and fluidity. Her speech was interesting, fun and she even adapted topics for the younger children of the group so they didn't get bored. Breatrice showed great expertise and mastery of History, French and Arabic. It was a superb experience despite the cold and rain. Many thanks!
We’ve just returned from a wonderful 3 hour tour of the Alhambra and Nasrid Palaces with Natalia. From start to finish the visit was excellent and also great value, I couldn’t imagine visiting such a large complex site without an expert guide. Despite the site being very busy, Natalia guided us gently through the crowds enabling us to see all the sites and taking time to explain the history of the Alhambra. Thoroughly recommended without hesitation.
Absolutely brilliant day out with the grandchildren visiting this amazing place. My wife and I visited 20 years ago, but this time we decided to use a tour guide and saw so much more and learnt lots! Our tour guide, Natalia, was extremely knowledgable, friendly and made the whole day. Definitely recommended.
