This was our first visit to Patagonia. We were blessed with lovely weather so we're able to join the horse riding everyday. Beautiful, calm horses were a joy to ride. The gauchos were very hospitable and welcoming and made the experience perfect. Authentic lodging. Period furniture and a log fire every day. Food just kept on coming - lots of it and great quality. The lamb asado was cooked to perfection and was the best I have ever eaten. We stayed 3 nights and wished we were there longer..

We highly recommend staying at Estancia Nibepo Aike as it was one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina. The wonderful staff was welcoming, made an effort to get to know us, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy during our stay. The food served is on the level of a gourmet restaurant - both delicious and well presented. The rooms are comfortable and we woke up every morning to the sight of two adorable little lambs grazing outside our window. The common areas are perfectly situated with room to sit by the fire and watch the sunset over the mountains in the distance. The animals are so much fun - great chances to ride horses, see and hear the sheep, and feel part of the entire ranch experience. We recommend staying at least two days and more if you can!

The horse back riding was fantastic and I highly recommend just booking a long horse back ride and skipping the other touristy parts (cow milking/sheep sheering) Scenery is phenomenal.
