Nice experience here at Saigon Princess. Nice weather and enjoy dinner. At night, they have live music at the rooftop. People enjoy!!! So much fun. Reasonable price.
I cannot recommend this experience overall. The boat ride itself offers the views that were promised, and cruising along the river is indeed enjoyable. However, the dining aspect was disappointing. Most of the food was served while the boat was still docked at the pier. When we asked to slow down the speed later on, the request was granted — but by then the dishes had become cold. The quality of the food was acceptable but far from exceptional; overall very average. Because of this, I would not recommend booking the tour with the dining option. The ride alone can be worthwhile, provided you enjoy the type of music played onboard. Toward the end it became quite loud, making conversation outside nearly impossible.
My husband and I went on the Saigon Princess dinner cruise on our last night in Vietnam and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. The ticket price depends on the meal course, and for the 4-course option it was around $42 per person. I chose the steak and my husband had the seafood; both were amazing! I loved the sea food better though!! They have full drink menu including beer, wine and cocktail that you can choose from but if you go with on alcohol options I highly recommend passion fruit fresh juice. The views from the cruise were stunning, and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and professional. Antonio (one of the staff) took us around all levels of the cruise and even offered to take photos of us, which made the experience feel extra special. The cruise itself lasts about 2 hours (7:30–9:30 PM), but boarding, welcoming and serving meals started around 6 PM. Overall, a beautiful evening and highly recommended if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City
