The night safari was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had. The animals look incredibly healthy, well cared for, and genuinely happy in their environment, which made the whole experience even more special. It’s perfect for families and young kids—very engaging, exciting, and well organised. The shows are all well scheduled and absolutely worth attending, so don’t skip any if you can help it. A memorable, educational, and fun experience for all ages. Highly recommended!

The Chiang Mai Night Safari offers very good value for money and delivers exactly what it promises. Even with a relatively short visit of around an hour, we were able to enjoy two excellent tram tours of roughly 30 minutes in total, during which we saw every animal that was advertised. The animals were clearly visible and active, and the experience felt well worth the ticket price. There are also additional elements such as dancing shows and fountain displays, which add to the overall atmosphere and make the visit feel more complete, even if you are limited on time. One area that would benefit from further refinement is the queueing system. Queues are largely left to self-organise, with minimal signage or structure, which on a busy evening naturally leads to some confusion and the occasional disagreement between visitors. A little more clarity here would make the experience even smoother. Pricing operates on a dual-rate system, with local prices displayed in Thai and higher international visitor prices applied at the counter. For foreigners living and working in Thailand, showing a valid work permit allows access to the Thai rate, which feels fair and is worth knowing in advance. Overall, an enjoyable, well-priced experience that delivers strong content in a relatively short time, with some scope for improved organisation as visitor numbers increase.

I visited with my family. The parking lot is very very far. There were no shuttle bus to send us at the entrance at all which is dangerous for elders and young kids. The service are really really bad. The security guards are a bit rude too. We wanted to see nong Ava but the room was too crowded. Should limit people. The animals were kept in a very small cage. They looked really sad and lonely. During the safari tram, there were 2 elephants. One looked very sad and stressed. The environment for the elephants are really small and horrible. The tram guide was really funny and not boring which is the only thing I liked. The black panther was walking back and forth, panting which isn’t very good. The zoo was very small and it wasn’t worth the ticket price AT ALL. The Ava mini show should be more organized. Should have a bigger space for people to watch. People had to stand on chairs which is dangerous. The parking lot is really bad. No one was managing the cars. The cars were parking over the line which made it have lesser space. As a Thai person, I personally think that the foreigner ticket price is not fair at all. If you want more tourists then decrease the price not increase. Please take care of the animals better and organize the people better.

The place is well maintained with safety measures. Overall, an enjoyable visit. The kids loved it, especially being able to see animals freely wander. Information at entrance were a bit limited, no maps. Tiger zone seems a bit over crowded with limited space. Car park and accessibility could improve especially for young children and elderly, with mobility needs. Overall, a great outing for families. A full day!

Chiang Mai Night Safari is truly one of the best adventure parks to enjoy a memorable day with loved ones. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels vibrant and welcoming, making it an ideal destination for families, couples, and anyone who appreciates nature and wildlife. The park is very well maintained, with clean walkways, beautifully managed landscapes, and thoughtfully designed animal zones that allow visitors to get up close with a wide variety of species. One of the highlights is the abundance of animal attractions—each experience feels unique and engaging, whether it’s feeding gentle creatures, watching exciting shows, or riding through the safari zones where animals roam freely. The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. They are always ready to assist, answer questions, and ensure that visitors feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit. The location of the Night Safari is another great advantage. It’s easy to reach and offers plenty of parking, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Whether you come for the safari rides, the beautiful lake views, or the magical night experience, the Chiang Mai Night Safari guarantees a fun-filled and unforgettable adventure for everyone.
