My wife and I visited Pong Yang Jungle Coaster & Zipline on Friday, October 17, 2025. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the staff’s attitude. A few days earlier, we had already been there, but since they only accept cash, we couldn’t buy tickets at that time. When we returned, we purchased the large package that included the zipline and jungle coaster so we could try everything. We had to wait until a full group was ready for the zipline, and we joined five others — three English guests and two Thai guests. It was very clear that the guides paid much more attention to the Thai guests and barely interacted with the rest of us. They didn’t seem friendly or service-minded, which made the experience less enjoyable. The activities themselves were fun — that’s the only reason I’m giving three stars. But when the tour ended, the guides eagerly asked for tips. I only had a 500-baht bill and wanted to exchange it for smaller notes at the reception. As I walked away, one of the guides sarcastically said, “Thank you for the big tip.” After that, I decided not to tip at all. We also had lunch afterward, and the food was actually good. However, the woman selling soft drinks was so rude and arrogant that we ended up leaving. It’s a shame — the place itself is great and the activities are exciting, but the staff’s bad attitude really ruins the experience. For the price you pay, you’d expect much better service.

Do the jungle coster. Highly recommended. So fun, so scenic and enough adrenaline rush. It’s only about 3 mins and the queue isn’t very long. We did the zip line thinking it is 1 long zip line but Nooooo !!! It’s with 32 different stops literally with different activities. Took like an hour. You can’t buy the ticket for this zip line alone. You can only buy it in a package. The package we bought included this, jungle coaster, coffee & cake, a T-shirt or a lunch. It was 2200 bt. (Note - jungle coaster alone is 200 bt only) Note - you need to wear a proper sneaker to do the zip line. U can rent there, would cost u 69 bt I think.

The Pong Yang Jungle refers to the lush forest area in Pong Yaeng (ปงยั้ง), a mountainous subdistrict in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai, located along the road to Mon Cham and not far from Doi Suthep–Pui National Park. It has become well-known as an eco-tourism destination where visitors can experience nature, adventure, and hill-tribe culture. ⸻ 🌿 Overview • Location: About 30 km northwest of Chiang Mai city (roughly 45–60 minutes by car). • Elevation: Around 800–1,200 meters, giving it a cooler climate year-round compared to the city. • Landscape: Mountain jungles, waterfalls, streams, coffee plantations, and misty viewpoints. ⸻ 🌳 Attractions & Activities • Adventure Parks: • Pongyang Jungle Coaster & Zipline – a family-friendly attraction with mountain coasters, treetop walks, and zipline adventures through the forest. • Pongyang Zipline & Jungle Flight – for thrill seekers who want longer, higher ziplines across the jungle canopy.

This place offers a lot of activities. But one activity which I would highly appreciate and recommend is to do the coaster. Because other activities are not worth. And probably this is what most of the people there were doing. It lasts less than 2 minutes but it is an experience. But I also feel that after reaching their All The Way after driving for 2 hours, 2 minutes is nothing. They produce should offer another package for a higher amount and longer duration.

Super fun place. Good amount of people but not too crowded. But we also went at 10am and some tour busses began showing up after we had left around 12pm. The only downside was that we really wanted to do the zip line. But you can only do it if you buy the package that includes others activities and things. Which is good, if you're here to do all the other activities. But in my case, we were just trying to do the zip line. Ended up riding the Jungle Coaster, which was also super fun. Just make sure, if you're on the shorter side like me, to lean forward when you press the bar to move. I had difficulty pushing it all the way to go the fully speed.

The staff were amazing, made everything so much fun. They were all full of energy but very strict on safety. Would have been nice to do the jungle coaster twice as we went on together
