Mohamed Refaaie is an outstandig guide. We felt like we came out of the tour with a much broader understanding of what we were looking at. His way of sharing historical knowledge through stories of the ancient egyptians who built it was really pleasant to listen to and never got monotonous or boring. Would thus highly recommend the tour in every aspect. Pickup and transport were timely and flawless. Also, we were guided with a pace that si felt was absolutely appropriate. No rushing through relevant things to unnecessarily pack the day more than it should be, yet there was always extra time to spend on the things that really mattered or people within the group were interested in. Highly recommend the tour for anyone who not only wants to see the sights, but wants to gain a solid understanding of what they are looking at!

He’s incredibly passionate about Luxor’s history and treasures, explaining everything so clearly and engagingly that even complex stories felt like thrilling adventures. Our trip was packed with enjoyment from start to finish—I’d wholeheartedly recommend signing up for this tour; you won’t regret it one bit. Plus, he took us to an amazing local restaurant for lunch where the food was absolutely delicious and authentic.

It was great. We visited the kings of valley, temple of Hatshepsut, one of the alabaster places and ate lunch at the Egyptian (I suppose) food. The guide Alaa Hassan told us the background or story at each places good enough to understand the historic meaning behind those ruins. Also he occasionally stopped the bus at the street where we could see some historic buildings and explained them which helped us understanding more. If there’s one thing I’d say, not complaining or anything, it says 5 hours tour on the web but eventually it took roughly 7 hours including lunch and returning to hotel, so be careful on scheduling your day. Overall we’re satisfied with the tour. Hope it helps your trip!

The tour was excellent. Our guide Alaa Hassan was very knowledgeable and had great English. He always checked that everyone understood and was happy to answer questions. Also, driver Abanob was great, and picked us up and dropped us off promptly. We felt safe and cared for at all times. We had great communication throughout, some free time to explore on our own, and the meal at the end was a bonus. It is great value for money and we would highly recommend booking this tour.
