Funchal and Monte Palace Tour

We begin our Funchal walking tour at the entrance of the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, where we will learn about the soccer player’s origins and achievements without entering the museum. From there, we stroll along the historic Arriaga Avenue toward the magnificent Duomo, a sixteenth-century cathedral showcasing Gothic, Manueline, and Baroque architecture. Walking through the Zona Velha, Funchal’s old town, we explore its vibrant streets and visit the Farmers Market, where local products and Madeira specialties are displayed in colorful stalls. After strolling through the gardens, we descend via cable car and conclude our tour at Jardim do Almirante Reis, a charming park perfect for a relaxing moment.
