Embark on a fascinating tour through the historical Roluos Group, the site of Cambodia’s ancient capital before it was relocated to Koh Ker and later to Angkor Thom. The Roluos Group comprises three significant temples, Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong, all of which were originally Buddhist temples. Our journey begins with Lolei, the northernmost temple in the Roluos complex, built in the late 9th century. Despite its age, Lolei's impressive structures and its peaceful surroundings make it a captivating place to explore.
Next, we will visit Preah Ko, another 9th-century temple dedicated to Hindu deities, particularly Shiva. Preah Ko is famous for its three towers, each adorned with intricate carvings and stone lions that reflect the artistic mastery of the Khmer Empire. After soaking in the beauty and history of Preah Ko, we will take a break for lunch. Following lunch, we will venture into a nearby local village to witness daily Cambodian life. The market is a vibrant place where you can interact with locals, shop for unique souvenirs, and experience the culture firsthand.
Our day continues with a visit to Bakheng Mountain, an ancient temple mountain constructed in the early 10th century. From the top of Bakheng Mountain, you will be treated to a stunning panoramic view of Angkor Wat, especially beautiful at sunset. This unforgettable view of one of the world's most iconic monuments, combined with the rich history of the temples, makes for an enriching and scenic end to the tour.

Our guide Chenda was my favourite! He was really kind throughout the day, understanding of all of our needs and informative about Siem Reap’s history. You can tell he loves his work, and it shows in how he presents himself. The experience was really insightful and also relaxing. Did I mention he took some of the best photos I’ve ever seen grace an iPhone camera!? No one even asked him too, he just loves it that much. Highly recommend!

What a fun tour! Our guide Chenda was very nice and prepared, but also fun in interacting with us and the locals. He knew all the best photo spots and took us lots of fun photos while also explaining all history of Phnom Kulen and it's Indu-busshist temple with great joy. Plenty of sentiment and respect, but also fun! The group we ended up into was plenty of fun and nice people too and we had the chance to know people from all around the world. Definitely a recommended day trip!

Our tour of Banteay Srei and the grand circle temples with guide Chenda was exceptional. Chenda’s postgraduate background in archaeology made his knowledge truly unrivalled, providing us with deep insights into the history and archaeology of the temples that we couldn’t have found elsewhere. The tour was comprehensive and well paced, allowing us to fully appreciate each site without feeling rushed. Chenda was very generous in taking photos of us at great spots and kindly shared all the photos with us at the end of the day, which was a lovely gesture. Lunch was at a great choice of restaurant, adding to the overall experience. Our driver was very attentive, taking great care of our belongings in the van and offering cold towels and water, which was much appreciated during the day. I highly recommend Chenda and Siem Reap Shuttle Tours for anyone wanting an informative and comfortable way to explore these incredible temples.

We had two tours with Siem Reap Shuttle Tours. The first one was the Angkor Wat tour and other attractions and we had Lok as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and was very forthcoming with very interesting information about the country and all the history of the various phases of the country’s past. We visited the various temples and Lok really took us around at our pace and showed us around. The pace was relaxed and we all really enjoyed the tour. He took pains to take very nice pictures for our memories. Lok is a very good asset to the tour operator. The second tour was to the Kulen Mountain and our guide was Nara. He kept us entertained with stories about the country and the various attractions while we were en-route to the Kulen Mountain. It had rained the previous night, so the location of the 1000 Lingams was flooded and we could not see them due to the water level and muddy waters. Also for the waterfall, due to the high water level, it was not possible to go into the water for safety reasons. Nevertheless, Nara was very enterprising and a very good photographer and he ensured that we came back with lovely memories. Nara is a great asset to the company. All in all, I thoroughly recommend the company for any tours in the Siem Reap area.

I had an amazing experience with Chanda as my tour guide. From the very beginning, he was welcoming, cheerful, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable. What impressed me most is his great personality—he is not only knowledgeable about the places we visited but also knows how to share the stories in a fun and engaging way. Chanda is also very thoughtful and takes care of every detail during the trip. He has a wonderful talent for photography and always took the initiative to help us capture the best photos without us even asking. Thanks to him, we now have so many beautiful memories from this journey. Throughout the tour, he was patient, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. It really felt like traveling with a good friend rather than just a guide. I truly appreciate his effort, positive energy, and professionalism. If you are looking for a reliable, caring, and amazing tour guide, I highly recommend Chanda. He definitely deserves 5 stars and more!
