Sujan was an incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful guide who made my time in Kathmandu truly unforgettable. From the moment we started, he took such genuine care in making sure I was comfortable, present, and fully able to take in each experience. As he guided me through the temples, he explained their history, culture, and spiritual meaning with so much patience and passion. You could really feel how deeply he respects these places and how much he loves sharing that with others. His kindness and attentiveness turned the day into something far more than just a tour — it became a beautiful, personal experience that I will treasure for a long time. I’m so grateful for the time I spent learning from him and would wholeheartedly recommend Sujan to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

This place is amalgamation of nepal's tradition and modern face-lift. Its a must visit place in kathmandu. This is the place where living Goddess of Nepal lives and if you are lucky. You will get to see her. Darbar square is so vibrant and lively.

Very cultural place in Nepal with the structures resembling building from the Shah and Malla era. The Newar architecture shines with the depth of carvings in the facades. One of the top places to visit if you visit Nepal. The main square was constructed in the 3rd century while most prominent structures were built around the 16th century. Beautiful history.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is a historic and lively place full of ancient temples and royal palaces. It reflects Nepal’s rich culture, art, and traditions beautifully. A great spot to explore history, local life, and take memorable photos.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the best places to visit in the city. Entry costs is 500 Nepali rupees for foreign tourists only. The area has a very lively atmosphere, with historic buildings all around, busy markets, and plenty of handicraft shops to explore. There are also many nice cafés nearby where you can sit and take a break. It is a great spot for people-watching and soaking in the everyday energy of Kathmandu. Absolutely recommended!

Anon is a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and kind. Definitely recommend this tour, im glad he was there to provide some explanation on history and culture, otherwise id be clueless. The transportation was also good and there is a bit of walking to get to each stop. Navigating all these stops would be difficult without the guide so it was very worthwhile.

Basantapur Durbar Square is one of the most famous and must-visit places in Kathmandu. I went there last weekend, and honestly, it’s way more beautiful than I expected. The moment you enter, you can feel the old-time vibes — the palaces, temples, and carved wooden windows show off Nepal’s amazing history and culture. Walking around, you’ll notice every corner has something interesting, from small shrines to huge statues. The place is always full of life. There are tourists taking photos, locals hanging out, street performers doing small shows, and tiny shops selling handicrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs. I spent some time just sitting on the steps, sipping tea, and watching people go by — it was surprisingly relaxing. The sunset view is magical. The golden light hits the old buildings and makes the whole square look like a painting. I also tried some street food nearby — momo and chatpate — while exploring, which made the visit even better. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming, and you can easily spend 2–3 hours just walking, clicking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. If you are in Kathmandu, you can’t miss Basantapur Durbar Square. It’s a perfect mix of history, culture, and fun, and every visit leaves you wanting to come back again!
