Our tour begins with a ride on the historic Shargan Eight train, a unique railway journey that takes travelers through scenic landscapes and offers a glimpse into the past. This charming train winds through mountains, tunnels, and bridges, providing unforgettable views and a nostalgic experience of Serbia’s railway heritage. After the train ride, we visit Wooden Town, a fairytale village crafted entirely from wood, where visitors can explore whimsical structures, enjoy cultural exhibits, and immerse themselves in a storybook atmosphere. It is a perfect destination for families and anyone who enjoys creativity, tradition, and scenic beauty.
Next, we take a scenic drive through the wild and lush Tara National Park, home to dense forests, wildlife, and breathtaking viewpoints. Denise

The ride was nice and nice experience. To be fair the places we stopped not much to see but was worth the ride. We were lucky cause in winter they only do 1 trip. On that day they did another at 1.30pm. So check times well so you will not be disappointed

The Šargan Eight is a wonderful attraction, offering a scenic ride on an old-fashioned train through breathtaking landscapes. The journey to the final station takes about 20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break. On the return trip, the train makes several stops along the way. Altogether, the experience lasts around two hours. It’s truly unique and very enjoyable—I highly recommend it !!!

It's absolutely beautiful place in etno style, with an old railway. The train goes three times a day, and there are tourists all around world. There's a small restaurant for a break, and cottages for renting.

A surprisingly great experience. The old stations, the train itself, and the scenery along the way really do make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time—100 years ago, give or take. Definitely worth it if you’re into history, nature, or just something different. We didn’t book in advance (which I’d recommend doing), so we ended up with standing tickets. Honestly, that turned out better than expected—still got the full atmosphere, minus the seat. Would do it again.

Visiting the Šargan Eight in Mokra Gora was like stepping into a storybook. The vintage train, with its charming wooden carriages, took us on a slow, winding journey through breathtaking mountain scenery. The track’s famous figure-eight design isn’t just an engineering marvel—it makes the ride feel like a scenic loop through time.
Anton

The density of natural beauty on the trip was amazing. You do however have to pay extra for all the activities on the trip

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war alles sehr gut organisiert und Marko war ein sehr toller Guide! Er hat uns sehr viel erzählt und wir konnten so sehr viel über das Land und die Einwohner erfahren.
