We visited early December, luckily we got a sunny day and Fira looked so magical and picturesque. The whitewashed buildings glowing ever so brightly in the sun rays and the pristine water of the Aegean sea hosting cruises on their day trips, was nothing short of a fairy tale imagination. The walk from Fira to Imerovigli was dotted by churches on the way, the famous three bells of fira and countless bougainvilleas greeting at every step of the way! Loved it! After sundown the place looks equally magical with the lights twinkling and sparkling in the farthest hotels and stays, making it feel ever so dreamy!

Santorini is a slice of paradise perched on cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. Whitewashed houses with blue domes, narrow winding paths, sunsets that set the sky ablaze—Santorini is canvases made real. The views over the caldera, the little villages like Oia, the sea breeze, the delicious food, the relaxed pace—everything aligns for romance and serenity. It feels like being inside a postcard. Truly magical.

Too crowded in the hot spots to see the Caldera, but if you are patient, can find some nice, unique and less crowded spots to view the sunset.

Amazing views of the white villas, the Mediterranean sea and the islands around. To see the views of the villas you to walk through the tiny walkways between these restaurants, resorts and villas. Every turn is different you have a different view point. The sunset is amazing. Lots of tourists in July, but not like you can’t walk around or find a place to have dinner with your family and friends.

Easy to get to in Fira, just a bit of a steep hill to walk up. View is stunning and gives the perfect centred shot of the sun. I would suggest arriving 20-30 before the time on the weather app (iPhone). Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
