The activity was excellent and this was due to our guide Mary. She was very welcoming, friendly, accomdating the guests and very knowledgeable. Mary took her time to explain the temple answer all questions and give personal time for photos. Mary was well organised friendly and made u feel at home. She was also well organised in with the varies car and boat trips. This trip is real value for money and this is down to Mary making the trip excellent Thank for for the memories

Masterpiece! This place is so surreal and it takes you back to the Pharoahs time as if we were living amongst them. You can see the conquers who engraved their names on its walls as they knew this place is a timeless. Proud Egyptian.

Beautiful temple from the ptolemaic era, and the most interesting place to go from Aswan apart from a day trip to Abu Simbel. The ticket to the temple does not include the boat ride and the system is actually a bit annoying: we got on a boat close to the ticket office area but not 'parked' there. We headed to the temple, and got told to get off somewhere to buy the tickets, scan them, and back on the boat to the actual temple. I guess you could tip the boat driver to skip this intermediate station. We paid 600 EGP for a return ticket for three people.

This was my first ancient Egypt place visited. It’s very intriguing! The whole place was dismantled and rebuild from the original place to avoid the destruction by the water of the Nile due to the Aswan Dam. Definitely worth the visit! Be aware that the ticket does not include the boat! Expect to pay 600 EGP more for the boat (cash only!) The ticket must be purchase using credit card, and you can buy at the ticket booth.

Philae Temple is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric sites in Egypt. You reach it only by boat, and the short ride across the Nile is already a highlight—calm water, gentle breeze, and stunning river views all around. Arriving at the island feels almost magical. The temple’s columns, reliefs, and gateways are well preserved, blending Egyptian and Greco-Roman elements in a unique way. It’s especially photogenic in the daytime, with the sunlight reflecting off the water. A peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable stop in Aswan.

Philae Temple is absolutely stunning; one of the most beautiful and peaceful sites we visited in Egypt. The setting on the island is magical, and the carvings are incredibly well preserved. We went around 1–2 PM, which turned out to be the perfect time; most cruise groups were having lunch, so the temple was almost empty, allowing us to explore quietly and take amazing photos. Our guide made the visit even more special by explaining the history and symbolism behind the temple, which really brought the place to life. I'd recommend a guide. A small but important tip: the ticket already includes the boat ride to and from the temple, so don’t fall for anyone who tells you that you need to pay extra for transportation.
