An awe-inspiring site set against dramatic cliffs, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut feels both powerful and serene. The layered terraces, perfect symmetry, and carved reliefs tell the bold story of Egypt's female pharaoh. Visit early for softer light and fewer crowds.

This place was absolutely amazing to visit. I went on a trip with a family friend of mine and it was amazing to see all of the history that the entire country possesses but specifically going to this temple was very cool to see and I really enjoyed my time here I saw many very very old things when I was there that fascinated me and I definitely would go back.

Stunning and unique temple. Hatshepsut Temple is absolutely breathtaking. Built into the cliffs, its design is unlike any other temple in Egypt and feels incredibly peaceful and powerful at the same time. The terraces, statues, and views of the surrounding mountains are amazing, and the history of Egypt’s female pharaoh makes it even more special. A must-visit site in Luxor.

Visiting this place in the late evening. We arrived around 3:00 PM and the crowds had almost vanished, less people. The limestone cliffs already turn a stunning golden-orange as the sun sets, and the lighting on the colonnades is perfect 😊

An impressive building, in a setting that seems Martian. From a distance you might think it's a much newer building. Unfortunately, outside of the structure, there's not much left to see, just a few small rooms, with the interior decorations in poor condition.
