Amazing heartfelt tour but remained objective in his view of the conflict. Highly recommend.

Derry city is a must for everyone to visit. We learnt so much while there. We walked the Walls, crossed the Peace Bridge and of course not forgetting the Bogside. A very emotional experience. The city is the cleanest and friendliest place yet. The Dungloe Bar served excellent food from warm friendly staff. We're planning a second visit.

I am very grateful to John for his walking tour of the Bogside in Derry. He gave a detailed and powerful account of Bloody Sunday, made especially moving by the fact that his brother, William, was amongst those who were murdered on that day. It was a sad and poignant experience, but also an important one that offered me a deeper understanding of the city’s history. This is a tour I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Derry.

We did this tour last year, Absolutely brilliant tour around the bogside, with great insight from the very friendly tour guides. Fantastic way of learning about the area from those who lived within it. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone in the area or to anyone who are looking to learn a little more about the local history in Derry.

Excellent tour. John sharing his personal story tied to the troubles helped bring everything together. We learned so much about the troubles and the peace process. Will definitely be recommending it everyone we know traveling to Derry! Be sure to check out the Free Derry Museum after/before your tour.
