Run down place with very little to do other than the lunch. Very rude staff on the horse ride (a 10 minute max plod around a small paddock). No helmets. A small zip wire (only one point of contact no helmets so really unsafe especially for younger children) only takes about 10 minutes to do. Then you’re just hanging around a dilapidated farm waiting for the lunch, which is ok and the singer was excellent, but we were charged £174 each for this day, an utter rip off for what it was. Really disappointed.

Since my priority was to ride horses, i give 2 stars. The horses were sick and exhausted. The property is beautiful. The dancers were amazing. The staff is nice people. However, the horses were really exhausted. I felt guilty to ride a sick/tired horse. My horse kept trembling, shivering, and his eyes kept closing. I talked to other customers on the ranch, and they felt their horses were also slow and tired. I felt glad I didn’t get into an accident because of how tired my horse was. My horse was shivering and his eyes were closing from exhaustion and he couldn’t run, but he was good at changing directions left and right. In all of my pictures with the horse, his head is hanging down low from exhaustion. I don’t have any nice pictures of my horse looking happy/healthy/alert. Otherwise, i think the property and staff are very nice. They just need to fix this one issue.

Estancia Don Silvano is an amazing place to visit, you get to spend a complete day on the ranch. The grounds are huge, and you can walk around the ranch to see the horses, sheep, and pigs. You can go horseback riding, go down the zip line, and the best part is the meal. The meal is filled with different meat choices, there are vegetables, breads, and wine or beers available for an extra cost. As you are finishing the meal, there is a folkloric show with live music and dancing, and then topped off with a Tango presentation. Audience members are encouraged to participate as well. After the meal, there is a gaucho show, with the Argentinian cowboys show off their horse riding skills. This ends a complete day of adventure!

We had a lovely day at Estancia Don Silvano. We booked the field day and return transfers to Buenos Aires with them directly, and it was a more affordable price than using some of the third parties. We were worried it would be too touristy, but the place is very well maintained and was a nice break from the city. We enjoyed our horse ride, the only negative was the instructions were all in Spanish so we had to do a bit of guesswork but luckily the horses all knew what they were doing and where to go. Another highlight was the lunch. It wasn't the best meal we ate in Argentina but what was fantastic was the entertainment. The singer was amazing, and the tango dancers were very professional and experienced. It was also such a great energy coming from the whole room as everybody in the crowd got involved and it felt like a big celebration. The gaucho skills were also very impressive! If you'd like an experience that's out of the city and a bit unique from your home country, then I'd recommend a day trip to Don Silvano!

I quite enjoy the tango and singing, not lack of comedy. For an Albertan with Stampede, the rodeo show isn’t impressive. Lunch is offer with a lot of food- too much. I may add- this place needs renovation and cleaning- bathroom doors won’t close or lock. Washing sink moldy and dirty, sticky floor— serious maintenance is called for.
