This business is basically a scam. "Maintenance" is going to delay your flight to some later month. Good luck with that if you're a tourist. It's clearly a way for them to advertise a low price, get in a ton of extra cash from people who never actually get to fly, and then they operate just enough legitimate flights with people who live in Ireland and re-book that it seems like a legit business. It isn't.

2 years on from paying the experience, we are still waiting to get on a helicopter. Has been cancelled so many times, including yet again, tomorrow. We have wasted annual leave, money on petrol, hotels etc only to be told last minute it is cancelled. The time before this we waited in Waterford airport for 5 hours before being told go home. Save your money, it's not worth the hassle.

So this is going to be a mixed review. Unfortunately we are like some others who had their initial flight cancelled. No clear reason was given and this was a little frustrating, especially for my autistic son who had been prepared for the adventure. No refund was offered and would not be offered unless the flight was postponed three times in a row. All that said, we had an amazing day out when we finally went up in the helicopter with Captain Dominic White who added to the experience with his professionalism and his friendly manner towards us adults and also towards my son. In summary, if you are willing to put up with a cancelled flight and postponing to a later date the experience is definitely worth it. We had a great day out and would love to do it again.

Booked in May 22. My first two bookings were both canceled (weather, technical issue) so like many other reviewers I began to think that I had been scammed. I had little hope that my third booking would go ahead so was very pleasantly surprised when I showed up in Stradbally to an actual helicopter! It's not a scam, they just seem very limited in what days they can fly (mostly due to cloud). Check-in and safety briefing were both good and the ground staff were welcoming and professional. About four other groups of passengers were there, each doing different flights one after the other. The flight was great, good commentary from the pilot and I felt safe throughout. I absolutely understand the frustration from other reviewers (as I felt the same myself) however, if you're flexible with your dates, willing to wait, and lucky with the weather then it's worth it.
