Absolutely stunning. From the tram to the top, walking up the rest of the way and enjoying the incredible views at the top. Yes it is very busy and it probably will be all day every day, so just be prepared! It is still well worth the trip. Everything about it was so much fun. Be prepared to lie down on the floor to get good photos!! You also get to see monkeys, helicopters, paragliders and much more. Also the ice cream is delicious at the top. Obviously everything is well over priced whilst up there!

It’s truly a magnificent place to visit. A quick tip: if you’re not going with a tour, make sure to buy your tickets online. There are separate queues for online tickets, which are usually much faster. You can also buy tickets on-site, but be prepared for long lines—this might vary depending on the month or day; we went in August and it was quite busy. Another important thing to note is the weather. Check the forecast before you go because if it’s cloudy or foggy, you won’t be able to see much, and no one really warns you about this. On our first visit, we went with a tour guide and arrived around 4:30 to 5pm pm, but it was completely cloudy and foggy. Unfortunately, the guide didn’t mention anything about the visibility, which was disappointing. Tips: Tickets: If you’re not on a tour, purchase tickets online. There are separate queues for online bookings, which are much faster. On-site tickets are available but expect long lines, especially in August. Train will take you up there. Other option: car or private mini van Weather: Check the forecast before you go. If it’s cloudy or foggy, visibility can be zero—and no one will warn you about this. Our first visit in the afternoon with a tour was disappointing, as everything was covered in fog. Timing: We returned the next morning on our own. It was crowded, but we finally saw the views, and they were absolutely breathtaking.

It was amazing to visit Christ the Redeemer in Rio. The statue is very tall and impressive. It stands on top of Corcovado Mountain and you can see the whole city from there. This place is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The view and the feeling were truly magical. Highly recommended!
