Unforgettable experience walking amongst penguins on Isla Martillo. Very well and sensitively organized tour, with strong emphasis placed on penguins welfare. The cruise up the beagle channel is amazing as well. You start on a larger boat for the beagle channel cruise. The group then splits in two, with one half spending about an hour on the island while the other visits a museum, before swapping round. Quite expensive at 260USD per person, which does not include the mandatory Harbreton Ranch and port fee (45k ARS per person). If the weather is good, recommend skipping the museum and taking a walk up the road for great views of the surrounding mountains

Exceptional tour to the penguins and the Beagle Channel. The guide, the crew, the biologist at the exhibition all do their job with passion. It was a fantastic tour getting close to the gentoo and Magellan penguins, we spotted two minke whales and followed them with distance for a while. This tour was our highlight in Ushuaia and worth the effort to get here. I highly recommend this tour with Piratour if available definitely the best day tour of all. I was really sorry for all the visitors on their boats not allowed to access the island not able to see the gentoos.

We did the beagle channel and penguin Island tour. It was excellent. We also visit the museum of sea mammals. It was very educational. The penguins were the highlight of the excursion. It was very well organized. I highly recommend it.

Good agency. Well done the service, the guides (Toni and Pablo) good guys. Their respect to the rules when visiting the penguin reserve is just the bare minimum. I liked it. I like to remark this because people don’t understand the importance of being responsible in a natural reserve like that. People just like to complain, that the tour is expensive, that they put in a lot of rules etc..because they just don’t get it. Nice experience anyway, I’ll recommend

100% recommend. Wonderful experience with Franco as our guide. The only island with penguins at the moment of my visit in Ushuaia is a private island, and the only tour company allowed to go into the island with a guide is Piratour. I loved the experience, one can notice the care they have for this species in every action, small groups (no more than 20 people) with a private guide that will help you follow the rules to enjoy the visit and respect the wildlife. They take you with a van on one of the local roads to a private ranch, then you board a boat to the island and walk around to see the penguins, after that you go back to the ranch on boat, visit the cafeteria and a small but very interesting museum. After that you go back to Ushuaia.
