Nice place for a walk late night. Good restaurants and food stalls. Must try Chapati and karak. Pictures are taken during Arab Cup’25 opening.

Entrance is paid. The service at the door is very poor. It is forbidden to enter if you are not swimming. They said at the door that it is a private beach with a very small area. I think that for a tourist country, entrance should be free and there should be maximum better conditions for recreation. In a magnificent and beautiful country like Qatar, these small nuances should be taken into account.😉

Beaches here are restricted. I was standing on beach 11. Must of been standing for 5 mins then heard whistling. Security came from behind real fast. He had been whistling at me to get my attention. I must leave. Its a private beach and the Turk Otoman restaurant owned all the beach there. Beaches 12 13 and onwards were closed off and private, and he said all the Beaches that side were not allowed. He said I could go to beach 1 to 8. I must pay 10 qats. Why on earth are beaches numbered like prison blocks? Why on earth would I pay for an ordinary looking beach? Been all around the globe to the best beaches on the planet, Maldives, French Polynesia, Fiji, Australia, and so many more, but never paid. Even in Jamaica where beaches are private and owned by hotels, I was allowed to walk on the water line. Garbage restrictions every where I go in Qatar, and always watched by security, undercover plain clothes security, cameras, continuously spied on by something or someone. Can feel it daily. Don't like this country and won't be back. Much prefer Oman. Relaxed and beautiful, with nature to see and no high rises. And, Oman is way cheaper.

Katara Beach is one of Doha’s most beautiful and relaxing spots. Clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly with clear waters, water sports, and stunning views of the skyline. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just enjoying the sunset.

Clean and well-maintained beach, perfect for families. The water is calm and safe for kids to play, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Beautiful views, relaxing atmosphere, and good facilities make it a great spot to spend time with family.
