This was our first time staying at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe, and our experience came with a mix of highs and lows. Upon arrival, we encountered a significant delay as the concierge was unable to locate our fully paid, confirmed booking in their system. Despite showing our confirmation multiple times, the issue took over an hour to resolve. Throughout this period, however, the staff remained exceptionally polite, courteous, and professional, which we truly appreciated. Once we were finally escorted to our room, we were immediately impressed by the breathtaking views. Our room overlooked the waterhole frequently visited by wildlife, an unforgettable sight. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well presented. Given its location within a wildlife area, there were a number of moths and insects inside, though the mosquito net provided was helpful. Overall, despite the initial setback, we were happy with our stay and enjoyed the unique experience the lodge offers.

Absolutely incredible resort and staff. Food was immaculate, the amenities were great and the view of the watering hole - could not beat it! The best hotel in the area! Spacious beautiful rooms, overlooking to a safari area ( the hotel owns the reserve) which you get to see elephants, giraffe, buffalo, antelope, zebras, vultures and more while eating your breakfast/lunch/dinner. Boma dinner will be walking distance from your room as well, hotel also has great selection of food too. Friendly/ welcoming staff with big smiles. Housekeeping comes 2x a day so your room always fresh. Our mini bar was included, we had more than we could drink since they fill it 2x a day. Hotel has everything you need.. do u need excursions? They got you! Do u wanna relax in the pool while sipping some alcohol? They got you? Do you want safari feeling but want just want to sit and eat while eating? They got you!.. I could give this hotel 10stars! I will definitely stay here again.

The most beautiful hotel overlooking a waterhole with lots of wildlife to see. Excellent service and food is incredible. To top it off, a gym and pool overlooking the waterhole and sunset. Simply incredible

First time to Victoria Falls and this place was perfect! We were able to enjoy amazing views of a watering hole from our room, the restaurant and up close with the Sidhuli hide. The staff was always ready to help, very friendly and timely with correspondence in the months previous to our trip. The food was good, the cocktails well done but on the pricey end. The internet was very reliable. Our room was clean and well kept, there were mosquitos inside our net at night but this is Africa so it happens, just be mindful of keeping them closed all the way. This being our first time to Africa and in this kind of hotel we weren’t completely aware of the process of activities and how it was connected or was separate to the hotel, so a little overview would have been helpful. I loved the Vulture feed and conservation goals to help out these birds. I would recommend, while it is pricey, they do take care of you, interested in your itinerary and helpful to accommodate or recommend. Thank you for everything!
