This was a fun trip for my family. Sadly, the reefs aren’t healthy but there are still fish to see. The guides do a great job getting the group to areas with activity. The provided lunch (pre-made sandwiches and chips) was adequate but nothing exciting. Time at Icacus Island was short but fun. The piña coladas were delicious! This is a good trip for families learning to snorkel.

Our experience with Island Reef Tours was spectacular, Cpt Alex and Edgardo were amazing and great company on the boat. They were extremely hospitable and showed us such an amazing time! Ellen, the owner, is running a terrific program and we wish her and her crew success and growth! It was well worth the few extra dollars to go private and be able to enjoy ourselves without a large group. The snorkeling was superb and afterwards, the party was bumping on the boat at the beach with the other two ladies that went along. I can certainly say that laying impressions and friendships were made today on the Caribbean and we WILL be back!! Thank you again for your services and the wonderful time!! Much love! We loved our experience with Island Reef Tours! Booking the tour was simple and responded quickly to all the questions we had. Our boat captains/snorkel guides Alex, Ziggy, and Benita were awesome!! We have been on many snorkeling tours before, but this one was the best! They took us to Icacos, where we saw a great reef full of fish (Sergeant Major, Yellow Tail, and many others), brain coral, and sea urchins. We even saw a HUGE barracuda! When my daughter hurt her fingernail because she bent it backwards on the mat, they were quick to help her. The kids had a blast jumping off the boat, playing on the float pad, and feeding the fish. Then they took us to another island where we saw a stingray and sea turtle!! We loved every minute!

This was booked the day before. I inquired with availability and Danielle texted very quickly with open days/times for the week. We booked the next morning and had such a great time! Great communication. Very responsible. Safe. And fun conversation with them. Our family had a great day and made lots of memories. Highly recommend!! Way more fun than a big group.
