Capybara Encounter

Enjoy a unique and memorable wildlife experience with a close up Capybara encounter under direct zookeeper supervision. During this small group session you will meet Hazel the Capybara and learn about her behavior personality and care from knowledgeable staff. You may have the opportunity to gently pet and possibly hand feed Hazel while observing her calm and friendly nature. This encounter is designed to be safe educational and respectful for both guests and the animal. With a maximum of six participants the experience feels personal relaxed and engaging. Cameras are encouraged as Hazel loves attention and selfies making this a fun moment to capture and remember.

This encounter also includes general admission for the day allowing you to explore the rest of the facility at your own pace before or after your session. The experience is suitable for guests aged fourteen and above and is carefully supervised at all times to ensure animal welfare and guest safety. Space is limited and all rules must be followed to participate. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers looking for a rare hands on experience and a deeper understanding of one of the worlds most fascinating animals.
