Otter Encounters

Get ready to meet our young Asian Small Clawed Otters in a unique 15 to 20 minute encounter designed for animal lovers aged fourteen and above. During this hands-on experience, you can interact with, pet, and observe these playful otters while learning interesting facts about their behavior and natural habitat. The encounter takes place in a small room where you will be seated on the floor or outside where it can get muddy, giving you a true hands-on experience. Please note that the otters will not sit still long enough to be physically held, and their behavior can vary depending on their energy levels and moods. This encounter is a respectful way to observe the animals’ natural behaviors while participating in a safe and controlled environment.

All encounters include general admission for the day, allowing you to explore the rest of the park at your leisure. Every child must be accompanied by a paid adult, and no unaccompanied minors are permitted. The experience is subject to change as the otters grow, and all participants should be prepared for close interaction in a small space. Animal Adventures staff are not responsible for the animals’ willingness to interact, as the otters follow their natural instincts and may choose to rest or avoid contact. This is an opportunity to respectfully engage with exotic wildlife while learning about conservation and animal behavior.
