Definitely worth the money but don't purchase 5 routes for the 24hr ticket as they only go between 9.30am and between 4-5pm so you won't have time for all routes (one of which is a day trip). The audio on the green route kept repeating which was a little annoying. The "guide" was a recording. No live guide there.

If you’re visiting Dublin, I would definitely recommend doing the Christmas Lights Tour with CitySightseeing Dublin! The tour has quite a few Christmas hits which you can sing along to, and the commentary is quite interesting and interactive too. As well as that you get a free chocolate too! The commentary is nice and loud too so you don’t need to wear the earphones to hear it. All in all, it was a brilliant experience… would definitely recommend!

Terrible. Times of arrival in the app are completely inaccurate. Many buses go out of service before 5pm. This completely ruined my plans. Couldn't hear much due to speaker placement/quality, and the headphone jacks didn't work. Audio is not properly synchronized with the tour. I can't believe I bought this when for the same price, other tours have live commentary instead of a pre-recorded track. Do yourself a favour and book something else. This was mostly a waste of time. PS don't even think you'll get to see Dublin Castle, you'll just get a glimpse in between some buildings and that's it. Oh and the bus randomly stops for 5-10 minutes in various places with no explanation (and I'm not talking about the starting point).

I loved the 72h ticket allowed me to access all routes and plan out my trip making sure I got to see all that I wanted to see, the easy to follow schedule and maps made my experience better allowing me to understand where I was and make plans to hop off to see the most of the beautiful city

Great experience, the buses were clean and the upper deck afforded the opportunity to take great photos. The Tour Guide was informative and entertaining. We got to see some sights that we wouldn't have been able to get to simply walking through town. We purchased the ticket that included the 45 Minute Boat Tour which was lovely as well. What a beautiful perspective from the river cruise. Here too, the tour guide was entertaining and informative. Well worth the money!
