Both days were absolutely fantastic, thanks to our amazing guide Leonor, who made everything personal, fun, and seamless. Our first day tour we did Quinta do Quetzal! This was gorgeous winery, delicious wines, and traditional Alentejo lunch, then we went to tasting talha wines at Honrado Vineyards! On our second tour we learned all about olive oil at Casa Relvas and tasted it also then headed to another winery to taste more incredible wines at Quinta do Paral — every stop was a highlight. Leonor went above and beyond with great conversation, local stories, and even restaurant recommendations and reservations. Alentejo Viti Tours was an amazing choice for our honeymoon. We were expecting a lovely wine tour with information regarding vineyards and architecture, but what we experienced was something above and beyond. Leonor’s partnership with local vineyards and small business owners gave us the opportunity to participate in a harvest festival and lunch with the Casa Relvas vineyard staff as if we were family, and then to continue our day tasting the wines and learning about the passion architectural project that is Herdade do Freixo vineyard. It was amazing and we would 100% recommend!
