Grand seems a bit of a stretch. Can't get any better on the location and the building was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Notice there is a $20 additional, mandatory fee upon checking in. This covers the laundry room and gym. That was a bit annoying considering we had no intentions of using either. We did recieve drink vouchers upon arrival, to use in the lobby bar. That was a great suprise! The balcony river view was the perfect choice for us. There was a hot tub in the room which was a fun addition. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good and the coffee was delicious. Cleanliness and general upkeep are our only reasons for a lower score. Everything is a bit dingy and worn down. Some of the previous guests things were in our room upon arrival and the bathrooms had hair in them. The balcony had garbage on it. The sink leaked all over the counter and hot tub turned itself on in the middle of the night, waking us up. I would love to see the Grand Natchez renovated with historical charm. And sticker cleaning practices. Overall we would probably stay again if rooms were discounted (we used the black friday discount) but probably not come back to pay full price.

The rooms are dated but VERY cozy. Room service is punctual and respectful of belongings. The front desk is always happy to help you and the location is really stunning. Right on the river, you can very easily walk to just about wherever you want to go.

I have stayed here twice and can’t wait to go back! Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and very friendly staff - the gentleman at the breakfast bar is the most hospitable guy and takes care of your needs immediately. Great location overlooking the Mississippi River with plenty of things to do within walking distance. This place has a nostalgic vibe and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Don’t miss it!

Location is great and the staff is wonderful but this place needs a serious updating and upgrade. Carpets are dingee (mine was wet from the carpet cleaning). Bathrooms and bedrooms are old, dated, and need a good cleaning, refresh, etc. Literally feels like a room from 2001. Not worth the cost - due to interior and rooms

We just left the Grand Hotel at Natchez, Mississippi- July 2025. The hotel has the best location you can hope for. It is walking distance to basically everything you want to see. Even facing the Mississippi River. We stayed in the suite 303. Spacious, huge, comfortable, clean sheets and towels. Staff are very friendly. I gave it 4 stars because of the DUSTY suite and awful shower- extremely hot and no way to make it lukewarm: it is hot or burning, and it doesn’t have very much water coming out of it. The shades, lights, windows and furniture need a better dusting and care for them. Other than that, I totally recommend it.
