Highly recommend! We’ve come to Edinburgh with our 4 & 7yo for a few nights and love a good open top bus tour. Checked out the reviews and Edinburgh Bus Tours & City Sightseeing were highly rated so we decided to go with them, and it was a great choice. The staff involved that I’ve seen dealing with other customers or that I have interacted with, whether they were ticket sellers or drivers, provide so much more - they go above and beyond, providing information and support beyond what you would expect. Helping people find their way around, giving advice and sorting out issues like lost tickets etc, I never saw one employee make anything seem like it was too much trouble or handling things with anything short of a smile and great disposition. The routes provided are so great and the commentary is so informative. I learnt so much more about Edinburgh than I would have if I hadn’t taken a tour. Being able to upgrade our tickets to 48 hours was a great option we made use of. The accompanying app is really great also. I wouldn’t normally download the app for something like this, as I find them to be pretty much always useless, but this one was great. Very useful, especially providing information about when the next bus will be arriving at a stop. Also the kids were free! I highly recommend Edinburgh Bus Tours & City Sightseeing.

What to do when the skies open up and the rain comes down ? The top deck covered portion of the Hop on bus .. perfect activity, the crew were lovely as was the agent we bought the ticket from. Headset provided lots of interesting facts and helpful info. We stayed on for one and a half full circuits then got off for lunch . Lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon
