Embark on a full half-day winter adventure through the quiet, snow-covered Northwoods on a self-guided snowmobile ride. This four-hour experience allows you to explore winding forest corridors, deep snow pockets, rolling terrain, and untouched winter scenery far into the pines. After a brief safety and operation briefing, you will set off on your own sled with a GPS map and a clear overview of the route. The ride stays entirely on land-based trails with no lake riding, offering scenic stops for photos, smooth cruising, and the freedom to explore at your own pace. This extended route is perfect for those who want more space, more time, and a deeper sense of winter escape in the Northwoods.
The adventure begins with check-in at Throttle RX Rentals in Danbury, Wisconsin, followed by a quick safety video, operation orientation, and waiver completion. Participants are fitted with helmets and goggles, and optional full-face helmets with heated visors are available for an additional fee. The package includes the snowmobile, trail passes, GPS digital map, trailside assistance, and insights on local attractions and restaurants. Riders should bring warm clothing, boots, gloves, and other cold-weather gear, along with a credit/debit card and state-issued ID. Children must be at least 46 inches tall to ride, and the activity is not suitable for pregnant women. A snowmobile safety course and a damage deposit may be required depending on age and machine rented. This adventure combines safety, scenic beauty, and the freedom of a true Northwoods winter ride.
