Well that was great, it really is only a 15 min trip on a boat. That takes you in to the wide open space that is the cave it stunning but before you know it, it all over. Worth a visit but.....look at my pictures, lovely!
Matthew

Awesome experience, friendly, knowledgeable staff who were happy to take a few photos of us at the end too. Short experience, I more than 6-8 minutes in the boat but it was well worth it for the €30 (2 adults & 2 kids). Plenty of free parking too.

A great experience, good value for money and knowledgeable, fun tour guides on the boats. We paid €10 each which worked out to about £6 each. The tour was by boat and it was astonishing how Crystal clear the water is even though its tens of metres deep! The tour lasted approximately 20 minutes and our boat guide was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English, and was a laugh as well. Will definitely go again when we come back to Kefalonia!

Absolutely stunning. The price is €13 per person for entry of both Melissani and Drogerati cave BUT they say you get 15 minutes in the boat, which is actually more like 5 to 8 minutes. We went on a Tuesday, 1st of September and hoped for no lines but the lines were absolutely insane.. 10 buses filled with tourists and the queue held about 200 people at all times. We went around 1pm so try to avoid that time. If it wasn't for this amount of people I would say it's a must see, but now I'm not sure it's worth waiting 2 hours so see the cave for 5 minutes.

It you are able to time your visit when the sun hits the water it is spectacular. However you will have a longer wait. We arrived just before 10am and boarded a boat around 10.30am. The boat ride itself lasts 10-15 mins and you are rowed through the “magical” water into a covered cave and then back.
